A very accurate analysis of tempo variations as a Latin Ensemble grooves
The Tempo Map (shown below) is from a Tito Puente solo from the song Ti Mon Bo (CD Top Percussion Tito Puente) from 4' 30' to 6'30" The vertical axis is in beats per minute and the horizontal axis is in quarter notes. The tempo is the composite tempo the whole ensemble playing while Tito Puente plays timbales.
