 Clyde Stubblefield is the most sampled drummer in the world. When he played with James Brown he lay down many classic drum tracks that are R&B classics such as Cold Sweat, I Got The Feelin', Mother Popcorn, Give It Up Or Turn It Loose and Funky Drummer, Say It Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud). Cold Sweat and Funky Drummer were voted two of the top 50 grooves of the 20th century by Modern Drummer.

The CD now contains 379 loops in the Studio Quality mix and the same loops 379 in a bass heavy Hip Hop/Club mix for a total of 758 loops. A great performance by one of the world's great Old School Drummers.
For each loop there is a MIDI File and a set of DNA Groove Templates. Clyde plays a wide range of styles and tempos (70 to 140 bpm) but regardless of what he plays, it's always funky.

The Funky Drummer audio CD also ships with a Mac/PC CD Rom with the MIDI Files and DNA Grooves for each loops that are derived from Clyde Stubblefields's great acoustic performance.
