FORTI and SERTI are the innovative new convolution libraries with tools that can be used in any genre, at any stage of production, to make your mix sound better. From an exquisite reverb collection to unparalleled filters for coloration (both modern and vintage) and well as ultra precision editing and enhancement, the collection marries versatility with uncompromising quality that is difficult (if not impossible) to achieve with other tools.

But the libraries don't stop there. They also include VSL specific timbal Impulses (TIs) custom made for each string instrument (and instrument section) in the VSL libraries.

The FORTI Film EQ impulses give you the cinematic sound of some of Hollywood's best scores and enhance the warmth and smoothness of the strings.

Similarly, the Harmonic Emphasis TIs in SERTI emphasize the radiance of the strings by emphasizing the harmonics over the bowing noise.

Film EQ and Harmonic Emphasis impulses can be used separately or stacked on the same instrument for a possibility of three new string sounds.

Both libraries feature their own Composite Reverb Collection. FORTI offers lush orchestral reverbs, while SERTI supplies a sumptuously intimate sound that colours without clouding. Both include at least 30 reverb tails and 30 early reflection spaces (each) that can be freely mixed and matched.

Both FORTI and SERTI offer the innovative new TILT Filters, with each library covering different interlocking cutoff points. TILT Filters are unlike any other on the market today, with a sound that has to be heard to be believed. The Dark TILT filters are ideal for achieving a smooth or vintage sound, or laying foreground elements further back in a mix while the bright TILT Filters can create a modern, present sound or help bring out recessed instruments.

When it comes to Ultra-Precision Filters each library features filters suited to a different task, all with a roll-off rate of over 400dB/octave. The Highpass Filters in FORTI are ideally suited to removing noise below the lowest pitch of an acoustic instrument. The SERTI Low-End Removal filters feature even lower cutoff points that allow you to remove unwanted subsonics, such as non-musical equipment, recording and processing noise. This allows you to use the SERTI Bass Isolation Filters to isolate and increase bass with complete clarity and confidence that you will not be boosting unwanted rumble.
